I scream, you scream, we all scream for Ice Cream!
Nothing beats a hot day then getting together at the local library and learning about how farmers produce the milk that goes into the cold, sugary mix, known as ICE CREAM!
Children were read several fun stories about ice cream, and then were tasked with making their own ice cream in a bag. It's super easy and you can make it too!

In a sandwich size Ziplock bag, put in 1/2 cup of Half & Half, 1 T of Sugar and 1/4 t. of Vanilla. Seal really tight!
In a gallon size Ziplock bag, put in 1/3 cup of Rock Salt (I found mine in the baking aisle at the local Wal-Mart) and 3 cups of ice.
Put the sealed sandwich bag into the gallon bag and seal. Shake for 10-15 minutes until mixture is combined!
